Tank's vacant belt says what the ring already knew
Gervonta Davis is still an attraction. The lightweight belt no longer has to wait for him.
Search-indexed Bad Left Hook coverage flagged the WBA declaring Davis's lightweight title vacant. Earlier Bad Left Hook reporting had already framed Davis-Schofield as a fight with public cracks and no urgency.
Lightweight has enough talent to be a working division, not a museum for a star's last active moment. Vacating the belt does not kill Tank's commercial power; it separates commercial power from title responsibility. That is healthy, even if the WBA took the long way there.
Who turns the vacancy into a real fight first — and will Tank return as a boxer chasing belts or as an attraction above them?
