Gassiev-Miller is how the post-Usyk map gets grubby
The WBA route does not have to be elegant to be plausible. That is the problem.
Eddie Hearn told iFL TV that Gassiev-Miller discussions are ongoing. The Ring laid out the chain: Gassiev holds the WBA belt after Usyk vacated; Itauma is tied up with Hrgovic for the vacant IBF title on August 29; Miller sits near the top of the WBA queue.
This is the first lesson of the post-Usyk title room: prestige leaves faster than paperwork. Gassiev-Miller would be commercially noisy, stylistically ugly, and politically useful. That does not make it great. It makes it plausible.
